- The focus of the research in this research is (1) knowing the picture of the needs of video development of character education learning media themed sipakatau culture (2) knowing the validity of the development of video media learning character education themed sipakatau culture and (3) practicality of products developed that are integrated in local content subjects at SD Negeri 48 Lappae, Sinjai district. The research method used is research and development. This research step includes the initial observation stage, KI mapping, KD, then script writing, narrative writing, image taking, sound recording, and product creation. The results of the analysis of the needs of video development of character education learning themed culture sipakatau is needed, because in addition to being used as a learning media in the classroom, this learning video media can also help teachers in terms of building the character of students in order to live humanizing each other. Validation results show that the learning media products developed are declared in the valid category. The results of teacher responses as media users stated that video media learning character education is very practical to use.
