- This study aims to determine the enhancement of listening skills through storytelling with hand puppets in children aged 4-5 years at TK Pembina Bangkala, Jeneponto. The subjects of this study were children in Group A2 with 15 students and 2 teachers. The object of research is the ability to listen. The method used in data collection is observation and documentation taken during the learning process. The analysis technique used in this research is descriptive qualitative. This research was conducted in 2 cycles, each cycle lasting 4 meetings. The results showed that the listening ability of children aged 4-5 years at TK Negeri Pembina Jeneponto could be improved. The results of observations in pre-action show that there are no children who have the criteria to develop very well. After the action in Cycle I, the ability to listen to the criteria for very well developed increased to 5 children and in Cycle II the criteria for very well developed increased to 12 children. Based on these results, it can be concluded that telling stories with hand puppet media for children aged 4-5 years can improve their listening ability in children aged 4-5 years old TK Negeri Pembina Bangkala, Jeneponto Regency.
