- Abstract: This study aims to obtain a description of authoritarian, permissive and democratic parenting on learning outcomes and to determine the effect of authoritarian, permissive and democratic parenting on learning outcomes in grade IV SD Inpres Sero, Gowa Regency. This type of research is a quantitative study using the ex-post facto method which is causality. The data collection technique is in the form of distributing questionnaires. The population in this study were all students of class IV SD in the cluster II region of Sumba Opu sub-district, Gowa regency as many as 293, while the sample was 59 students of grade IV SD Inpres Sero. The analysis technique used is descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression. The results of the descriptive analysis show that the authoritarian parenting is in the moderate category 2 with the contribution value of R (11.6%), permissive parenting (20.5%), democratic parenting (16.1%). Authoritarian, permissive and democratic variables (19.6%). So the results of the study show that partially, authoritarian, permissive and democratic parenting have an effect on learning outcomes. And simultaneously the authoritarian, permissive and democratic parenting variables affect the learning outcomes of fourth grade students of SD Inpres Sero, Gowa Regency.
