ABSTRAK

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh efektivitas kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah dan motivasi kerja guru terhadap produktifitas kerja guru SMA di Kabupaten Polewali Mandar.
Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif jenis survei. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di 8 (delapan) SMA Negeri Kabupaten Polewali Mandar dengan jumlah sampel penelitian sebanyak 167 orang. Teknik Pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik angket, observasi, dan studi dokumen. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif dan analisis inferensial dengan menggunakan uji regresi linier sederhana dan regresi linier ganda.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (i) (a) Efektivitas kepemimpinan kepala sekolah SMA Negeri di Kabupaten Polewali Mandar memiliki tingkat ketercapaian pada kategori tinggi; (b) Motivasi kerja guru SMA Negeri di Kabupaten Polewali Mandar memiliki tingkat ketercapaian pada kategori tinggi; dan (c) Produktivitas kerja guru SMA Negeri di Kabupaten Polewali Mandar memiliki tingkat ketercapaian pada kategori sangat tinggi; (ii) Terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan antara efektivitas kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah terhadap produktivitas kerja guru SMA Negeri di Kabupaten Polewali Mandar; (iii) Terdapat pengaruh positif dan cukup signifikan antara motivasi kerja terhadap produktivitas kerja guru SMA Negeri di Kabupaten Polewali Mandar; dan (iv) Terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara efektivitas kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah dan motivasi kerja guru secara bersama-sama terhadap produktivitas kerja guru SMA Negeri di Kabupaten Polewali Mandar.

ABSTRACT

The study aimed at examining the impact of the effectiveness of leadership of the principals and teachers’ work motivation towards work productivity of teachers at SMAN in Polewali Mandar district.
The study was a quantitative research with survey approach. The study was conducted in 8 schools at SMAN in Polewali Mandar district with 167 samples. Data were collected by employing questionnaire, observation, and inferential analysis using simple regression linier and multiple regressions linier.
The results of the study revealed that (i) a) the effectiveness of leadership of the principals at SMAN in Polewali Mandar district has an achievement level in high category, b) teachers’ work motivation at SMAN in Polewali Mandar district ini level high category, c) teachers’ work productivity at SMAN in Polewali Mandar district has the achievement level in high category; (ii) there was positive and quite significant impact between work motivation towards teachers’ work productivity at SMAN in Polewali Mandar district; and (iv) there was positive and less significant impact between the effectiveness of leadership of the principals and work motivation jointly toward teachers’ work productivity at SMAN in Polewali Mandar district.
