- ABSTRACT Disruption in recent years has become a phenomenon that has attracted the attention of many people. The scale and spectrum extends to various fields of life and to all parts of the region. No exception in the library field. As an entity of knowledge libraries have become the address of concentrating the treasures of knowledge media so that knowledge can be perpetuated and communicated across the boundaries of space and time; The library is an address for people who want lifelong learning. The library is faced with disruption in the activity of hunting and storing knowledge. So it should be the focus of the study that is necessary and interesting to do. This paper is interested in the study througha phenomenology approach. There are four things that were successfully identified and described, namely: Writing vs.Shooting, Chating vs. Meeting, Asking vs. Browsing, and Tuning vs. Streaming. Keywords: disruption, library, knowledge, strategy.
