- The purpose of this study is that researchers can learn media relations strategy in managing The image of the House of Representatives. Conducted to determine the public relations strategies to overcome negative publicity. Method in this study, researchers used a qualitative research in order to obtain an objective description of the results, naturally, so the fact the variables according to research in the field is by using the method of semi-structured interviews (semistructure interview), library research and field observations. Method of data collection conducted by researchers are using primary data obtained in the study were from the interview (data sourced directly from first party without intermediaries) and secondary data which is not derived directly provide the data to researchers. Conclusions and suggestions of this study is the media relations in doing its job of managing the image of the House and change the mindset of the people, but still not optimal. Hence the need for management to be able to change the image of a better future as the House of Representatives.
