Penelitian bertujuan mengetahui senyawa aktif, aktivitas antioksidan,dan kadar fenol pada ekstrak air perasan, air rebusan, dan ekstrak metanol ental muda Diplazium esculentum (Retz.)Swartz.Uji senyawa aktif menggunakan metode skrining fitokimia. Aktivitas antioksidan diuji dengan spektrofotometri radikal bebas DPPH. Kadar total fenol diuji dengan Folin-Ciocalteau. Penelitian dilakukan di Laboratorium Biologi dan Kimia FMIPA UM. Hasil penelitian meliputi air perasan terdapat alkaloid, polifenol dan terpenoid; air rebusan ada polifenol dan terpenoid; ekstrak metanolterdapat alkaloid dan polifenol. NilaiIC50pada ekstrak air perasan, air rebusan dan ekstrak metanol ental muda Diplazium esculentum (Retz.) Swartz adalah 235,96;1,47 dan 120,481 μg/ml. Kadar total fenol pada air perasan air rebusan dan ekstrak metanol adalah 54,750; 65,55; 59,2797 μg EAG/mL (berat bahan segar tidak sama). ABSTRACT Wijarprasidya, Ajeng. The research aims to determine the content of active compounds, antioxidant activity and phenol content in the juice, boiled water and methanol extract of young frondDiplazium esculentum (Retz.)Swartz.The active compounds tested using phytochemical screening. Antioxidant activity tested using spectrophotometric method with free radicals DPPH. Total phenol test using Folin-Ciocalteau method. The research was conducted at the Biology and Chemistry Laboratory UM. The results identificated that the juice extract contains alkaloids, polyphenols and terpenoids, the boiled water extract contains polyphenols and terpenoids, the methanol extract contains alkaloids and polyphenols. IC50 value of antioxidant activity test of the juice, boiled water and methanol extract of young frondDiplazium esculentum (Retz.)Swartz.is 235.96; 1.47;120.481 μg/ml. The results of total phenols juice, boiled waterand methanol extracts is 54.750; 65.55;59.2797 μg EAG/mL(weight of fresh material is not the same).
