- Abstract: The Adjustment Bureau is a great example of how Chaos Theory can be applied in a work of literature. This movie shows how one small event eventually affects David Norris’future life which conveys the main principle of the Butterfly Effect. The research begins with the picture of David Norris’ life determined by the Bureau. Nonetheless, because of one slight mistake, the supposed outcome of his life is going to change. At last, this chaos portrayal leads to the compatibilist idea which proposes the reconciliation of Determinism and Free Will.
