- As a non linear load, 6-pulse rectifier could impact the distortion in a line current. This paper present that the Total Harmonics Distortion (THD) of the line current, particulary in the aplication of 10 kVA, 380/220V, 50 Hz has already increased the limitation of the harmonics standar (IEEE std. no. 519-1992). As a consequences, the input power factor(PF) will decreased and made the power quality become poor. The new hibrid parallel active filter 5kVA, 380/220 V, 50 Hz already planed to reducing the THD of line current under 5 % (under the limitation).
