- HIV infection/AIDS is a major public health problem n ndonesia. The problem results in huge economic, social, as well as politicial burdens. On this perspective,prevention of HIV infection/AIDS is very important. Through an exploratory research involving 10.736 people from five provinces (Riau, DI Jakarta, Jawa Timur, Bali and Papua), the author reports a profile of knowledge, perception, belifief and attitude of Indonesian people related to HIV/AIDS. The profile will implicate for economic research in the future.
