- Objective: to present current and comprehensive recommendations for the treatment of Acute haemorragic Stroke and to determine pharmacologic agent widely used in the clinical setting. Mathods: we explore some guidelines and clinical studies on the management of hypertensive patients with Haemorrhagic Stroke from Jan 2000 up to present. recommendation to use Nicardipine (Perdipine) injection dor lowering blood pressure in patients with Acute Intracerebral haemorrhage has been proposed by AHA-ASA 2013, AHA-ASA 2010, EUSI 2006. Nicardipin is also recommended by Samurai study conducted in Japan as well as other study conducted in Korea. Moreover Nicardipin has additional benefit in treating vasospasm in patients with Aneurysmal Subarachnoid Haemorrhage. The use of Nicardipine (Perdipine) injection in patients with Acute Intracerebral haemorrhage is recommended by AHA-ASA 2013, AHA-ASA 2010, EUSI 2006. Samurai study conducted in Japan as well as other study conducted in Korea recomend Nicardipine (Perdipine) for lowering blood pressure in Patients with Acute Intra Cranial Haemorrhage and Sub arachnoidal Haemorrhage. Additionally, Nicardipine also has benefical effect in treating vasospasm in patients with Aneurysmal Subarachnoid Haemorrhage. Conclusion: The findings from this review show the safety and feasibility of Nicardipine (Perdipine) used in patients with acute Intracerebral HAemorrahe as well as patient with subarachnoid haemorrage.
