  • The aim of this study is to examine the effect of Spirulina platensis extract on histopathologic of gouramy gills (Oshpronemus goutamy) because of infected by Aeromonas hydrophila. The sample were using 20 gouramy divided into 5 grups:group I (K-) as a negative control were dipped into water twice for 3 hours, group II (K+) as a positive control were dipped into water twice for 3 hours and after second dipping followed by Aerotnonas hydrophila lml/5L, group III (P1) were dipped into Spirulina platensis 200mg/ L twice for 3 hours and after second dipping followed by Aer01nonas hydraphi la lml/51, group IV (P2) were dipped into Spirulina platensis 400mg/L twice for 3 hours and after second dipping followed by Aeromonas hydrophila lml/SL,group V (P4) were dipped into Spirulina platensis 600mg/ L twice for 3 hours and after second dipping followed by Aeramonas hydraphila 1m.lj SL. On the 18th day surgery, were done for taking data of the gills histopathology. The data of the gillshistopathology were analyzed by Kruskall Walis, followed by Z test. Theresult of Kruskall Walis showed that giving Spirulina platensis has significant difference (p<0,05). Fron1the research it can be concluded that Spirulina platensis can maintains the histophatologic of gouramy gills because of infected by Aerontonas hydrophila.
