Hubungan Umur Terhadap Efisiensi Reproduksi Sapi Potong Akseptor Inseminasi Buatan (Ib) Di Kecamatan Modo Kabupaten Lamongan

- The purpose of this research was to know the influence of age on reproductive of beef cattle in Kecamatan Modo Kabupaten Lamongan through the determination of number: Service per Conception (S/C), Days Open (DO), Calving Interval (CI), Conception Rate (CR), and Calving Rate (CvR). The methods used in this research was a survey. The primer data were taken by interviewing with farmers, and secondary data were taken from inseminator data ISIKHNAS. Data taken 10% of the 4.080 beef cattle Artificial Insemination acceptor is 408 cows. The results obtained: Service per Conception (S/C) 1,71, Days Open (DO) 180,1 days, Calving Interval (CI) 461,2 days, Conception Rate (CR) 56%, and Calving Rate (CvR) 95,25%. Then, the components data which included S/C, DO, and CI, were divided based on the sample’s age estimation into four different age groups, they were 3, 4, 5, and 6 years. S/C, DO and CI’s component were analyzed using Regression Test based on those four different age group and three different breeds (Limousin, Simmental, and Peranakan Ongole). The result of study showed that there was not relationship between the S/C, DO, and CI’s components and sample’s age estimation (p>0,05). Productive life of beef cattle reached around 4 to 5 years and PO cows at Kecamatan Modo Kabupaten Lamongan had more efficient reproductive performance than those for Limousin and Simmental cows.
