Resistensi Aeromonas hydrophila Yang Diisolasi Dari Ikan Mas (Cyprinus carpio) Di Malang Terhadap Antibiotik

  • The aim of this research was to know the resistance of Aeromonas hydrophila isolated from gold fish in Malang to antibiotics. Seven from fourty samples have characteristics like Gram negative and rod shaped, sugar fermented, produce indole, motile, used citrate, oxidase and decarboxylase lysin are positive. Antibiotic that used for resistance test were amoxicillin clavulanic acid, ampicillin, chlorampenicol, erytromycin, gentamicin, novobiocin, oxacillin, penicillin, tetracycline and trimetoprim sulfametoxazol by in vitro using Kirby- Bauer method. Disc of these antibiotics were put on the surface of MHA medium with growing Aeromonas hydrophila on it. Diameter of inhibitor area surrounding around the discs were measured on mm to identify either the isolates resistant or not. Test result of a resistance test to ten antibiotics that ampicillin, eritromycin, novobiocin, oxacillin, penicillin and trimetoprim sulfametoxazole, are resistant for the bacteria.
