- Indonesia is one of the exporting countries of frog’s leg for consumption as food especially Fejervarya cancrivora has thick thigh meat. This research was conducted to study and identify the presence of Pentastomide found in rice field frog (Fejervarya cancrivora) commonly consumed by humans in Ngawen, Blora, Central Java. Frogs that still live in euthanasia by damaging their brains, then the parasites are identified using the Semichen-Acetic Carmine staining method at the Parasitology Laboratory of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Airlangga University. From a total of 40 rice field frog samples taken from frog collectors, 28 frog samples showed positive of Pentastomide found in the musculus, subcutaneous and body cavity of the rice field frog's body (Fejervarya cancrivora). The result showed that there was found the nymph stage were matched by macroscopic and microscopic taxonomy and observation Pentastomida on rice field frog (Fejervarya cancrivora) gathered Ngawen, Blora, Central Java. Further researchneeds to be done on pentastomides in other hosts, such as fish, crabs, birds, dogs, reptiles and other animals. Based on the results of the study can be continued to take precautions in humans who consume rice field frogs infected with pentastomide..
