- In this era, Education is the most important thing for all of people in the world. Now, It is better than before when Indonesia gained its independence day. Indonesia was having only 5 universities, 92 senior high schools, and 322 junior high schools for a population of 70 millions. The country's education system was developing very slowly at that time. In 2010, the country has no less than 165.000 elementary schools and approximately 3.500 universities. Universitas Airlangga is one of the biggest university in Surabaya. It also provides some scholarships for its students to get a chance in a better education and creates individual excellence with mora1ity. Universitas Airlangga has an office which called International Office and Partnership (IOP). International Office and Partnership works as a bridge to the national and international partners to have connection with Universitas Airlangga. Its partners are from abroad or international universities and from some regions in Indonesia or domestic universities. To reach the target of Universitas Airlangga, IOP also has a strong vision and mission, accompanying with the competent and expert staff in each division. For now on, International Office and Partnership has lots of connections with both domestic and international institutions. IOP successfully be a bridge between the students and academicians of Universitas Airlangga who wants to go abroad. With the experiences abroad, students and academicians can be an excellent qualified graduation.
