- The purpose of this research is to examine the influence of the ownership concentration, board size, and proportion of independent board to firm performance in non-financial family firms listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. This research uses multiple linear regression model. Data is obtained from companies financial report and companies annual report published period 2013-2018. The independent variable used in this research are ownership concentration proxied with ownership above 20%, board size proxied with total number of board of commissioner, proportion of independent board proxied with number of independent commissioner to total number board of commissioner. The dependent variable in this research is firm performance measured by Tobin’s q. The control variable used in this research are firm size and leverage. The results of this research show that ownership concentration has significant negative effect to firm performance in family firms, board size has significant positive effect to firm performance in family firms, and proportion of independent board has significant positive effect to firm performance in family firms.
