- There is an adequate amount of smoker in Indonesia it has been proven according the data from ministry of health in Indonesia there is an increase number of smoker prevalence. Therefore, I assessed the profile of the lung function test in cigarette smoker among medical student in Airlangga University. Purpose: Obtain information regarding the lung condition of the medical student in Airlangga University Methods: This study using total sampling using questionnaire and spirometer. The questionnaire is to determine the inclusion and smoking activity. The spirometer is to obtain information regarding the specific condition about lung function. Results: It has been found there are 40 subjects who are active smokers. There are 3 subjects below the normal value for FEV1, FVC and FEV1/FVC ratio determine there is a disturbance in the large airway. There are 10 subjects below the normal value for FEF25-75% determines there is a disturbance in the small airway.
