- The research aims to determine the physical properties and value of Total Plate Count (TPC) cervical mucus of dairy cattle when being lust that mated naturally. The material was 10 cervical mucus from 10 dairy cattle when being lust that mated naturally. Cervical mucus intake was done by sucking the mucus in the cervix using sterile plastic sheath and syringe 20 mL disposable. The physical properties of the cervical mucus were assessed by turbidity level and viscosity using the spinnbarkeit test. The observed variable includes the turbidity level, the spinnbarkeit value and the TPC value of the cervical mucus. The results showed that the physical properties of the cervical mucus of dairy cattle when lust that mated naturally had a clear transparent turbidity level, the viscosity with the average value of spinnbarkeit 8.72 cm and the average TPC value of 9.7 x 103 CFU/ml.
