- The aim of this research was to explore the normal blood value of Gecko (Gekko gecko). Total of 20 samples were examined, it consisted of 10 males and 10 females, the blood examination was observed in the laboratory of Prof. Soeparwi Animal Hospital, Universitas Gajah Mada. The research was conducted in February-March 2019. The mean result of normal blood value of gecko in this research were WBC 13.25 x103/mm3 in male, and 15.25 x103/mm3 in female, Heterophil 75.2% in male, and 75.3% in female, Basophil 0% in both male and female, Eosinophil 7.2% in male, and 6.2% in female, Lymphocyte 16.1% in male, and 16.5% in female, Monocyte 0.9% in male, and 1.2% in female, RBC 1.037 x106/mm3 in male, and 0.65 x106/mm3 in female, haemoglobin 6.0 g/dL in male, and 5.72 g/dL in female, Hematocrit 74.1% in male and 69.2% in female.
