- The aim of this study was to determine Streptomyces spp. with anti tuberculosis activity from compost soil in Bratang area, Surabaya, Indonesia by turbidimetri method. In this research, we tried to study the ability of the production of anti tuberculosis agents by Streptomyces species from compost soil in Bratang area, Surabaya, Indonesia . Test of antibacterial activity against Mycobacterium tuberculosis was done by fermentation of Streptomyces spp. to produce secondary metabolites such as antibiotics. Results of this study showed that Streptomyces spp. isolated from compost soil in Bratang area, Surabaya, Indonesia showed that they had an activity against M. tuberculosis with varied potential activities Key words: Streptomyces spp., anti tuberculosis, turbidimetri
