- This thesis in entitle NON-DISCLOSURE AGREEEMENT AS LEGAL PROTECTION ON TRADE SECRETS UNICORN STARTUP. With two main issues, namely: (1) The urgency of non-disclosure agreement (NDA) for the startup, (2) The forms of legal protection against the unicorn startup company trade secrets. The research method used Normative Juridical Research Method with statute approach, conceptual approach and comparison of laws that use primary and secondary legal materials. The results of the study found that the NDA can be used as written evidence that binds the parties not to disclose the substance of the Trade Secret. The urgency of making an NDA in the form of a Notary Deed as a legal protection effort against Trade secrets in view of Government Regulation Number 36 of 2018 Concerning the Registration of Lisence Agreements that require recording to the Director General of Intellectual Property so that the legal consequences of third parties, do not yet contain the principle of non-disclosure.
