- The awareness of the use of postpartum contraception in the ideal time period as goverment recommendation in women with reproductive age is still lack make the incidence of Unwanted Pregnancy become high in Indonesia. Methods: The design used in this research is correlation with cross-sectional approach. The samples in this research was 86 pregnant women in the third trimester who selected by using inclusion criteria. Independent variables consist of Attitude Toward The Behavioral (ATTB), Subjective Norm (SN), Perceived Behavioral Control (PBC). The Dependent variable was the intention of the use of postpartum contraception toward pregnant women with third trimester. The instrument used was questionnaires. The data analyzed by using Spearman Rho Test with a significance level of α < 0,05. Results: The result of this research showed there were a significant correlation between attitude toward the behavioral (p = 0,000), subjective norm (0,000), perceived behavioral control (0,000) with the intention of the use of postpartum contraception toward pregnant women with third trimester. Discussion: The positive ATTB, the better SN support and the greater PBC will generate the higher intention of the use of postpartum contraception toward pregnant women with third trimester.
