- The compilation of Islamic law that used as a basic of Religion Court has take a decision on adopted child case upon his adopted parents' wealth in which this law arrange the existence of adopted child as on article 171 letter h KHI, which is adopted child accept a right upon his adopted parents' wealth through wajibah will, as the decision of Religion Court North Jakarta Number 121P2-HP/l997IPAJU, dated 13 March 1997. Although Islam not recognize the adopted child, adopting the child into family to care him is important according to the article 12 Act No.4 year 1979 about Child Welfare.
