- This research will give some advice regarding to possibilities of applying patent as a guarantee on banking credit. It is on obligation of patent owners to implement their patent (invention) in the territory of Indonesia. No small amount of funds have to be spent to implement this patent. As monetary institution, bank well responds this problems by giving credit for working capital or investment capital for patent owners to implement their invention. To fulfil the common principle in bank credit, the patent owner could give his patent as a credit guarantee to bank since the patent has an economical value for the owner and can be transferred like this requirement of guarantee object 10 common.
