- During the internship at Tourism Office of West Nusa Tenggara, the writer found out that having perfect communication skills are really needed in this field. People who work in a tourism field will found difficulties if they do not get used to talking with other people especially using English. Ways of communication are not only by speaking or by oral but also by written text. From the description in the previous chapter, it can be concluded that first, there are some rules that must be followed in oral communication. They are organization, language usage, nonverbal auditory, and nonverbal visual. Friendliness is needed, considering one of the keys in tourism is hospitality. Second, the English written communication plays an important role as well during the internship. The writer not only has to fill her knowledge about West Nusa Tenggara but also knowledge about planning, knowing the target readers, considering the grammatical error, and editing as well. It was challenging and thrilling at the same time to revise the guidebook.
