- Fire is occurrence of unwanted flame that can hit many places. Fire Extinguisher, or more commonly known as Portable Fire Extinguisher is one of the effective fire-fighting equipments that is used to extinguish insignificant of fire. CV.Cempaka Tulungagung, is one of the factories that move on the cigarettes manufacture which have potential occurence of fire. The general objective of this research was to study of Fire Extinguisher as one of the early fire prevention efforts that was done by the cigarette factory, CV.Cempaka Tulungagung. This research was a cross-sectional design with descriptive data analysis. The samples in this research were 20 workers which were selected randomly. Studied variables of research were characteristics of respondents, provision of Fire Extinguisher, the using of Fire Extinguisher, and maintenance of Fire Extinguisher in the factory. Method of research has been used in collecting the primary data, while the secondary data were taken from the factory itself.
