  • This study aims to isolate, identify, and find out Escherichia coli that are resistant to antibiotics such as Ampicillin, Cephalotin, Streptomycin, Ciprofloxacin, Erythromycin, Chloramphenicol, Trimethoprim, Tetracycline and Tetracycline isolated from Poultry Slaughterhouse in Lamongan District. The sample used in this study was broiler chicken meat taken in August 2018 from Poultry Slaughterhouse in Lamongan District. In this study, 25 grams of Musculus pectoralis from chicken meat used as a sample and amount of samples was 26 samples of chicken meat taken from Poultry Slaughterhouse in Lamongan District. The results of the isolation and identification tests using IMViC test showed that 11,5% samples positive of Escherichia coli while the percentage of negative samples of Escherichia coli was 88,5%. Result of sensitivity test showed that Escherichia coli has different sensitivity to the antibiotics that used in this study, some sampels of Escherichia coli found resistant to some antibiotics or intermediate even sensitive to antibiotics that used in this study. Based on the results of the research that has been done, it can be concluded that were 11,5% samples positive of Escherichia coli, also 100% samples resistant to Erythromycin, and Tetracycline, 66,6% sampels resistant to Ciprofloxacin, 33,3% sampels resistant to Ampicillin, Trimethoprim, Cephalotin, and Streptomycin. Also, there were 100% of samples sensitive to Chloramphenicol.
