The main goal of this study is to compare between diabetic type 2 BPH patients and non diabetic type 2 BPH patients and to analyze the significant differences between common clinical parameter such as prostate volume, IPSS score and Q-max. Methods: This study used analytical restrospective observational by obtaining the medical records of BPH patients between 2011 until 2015 in the Department of Urology, Dr. Soetomo Hospital, Surabaya, Indonesia. The clinical parameter are prostate volume, IPSS score (LUTS scale), and Q-max. Results: A total of 62 patients medical record that contain all above clinical paramater have been collected. The data include 11 patients are diabetic and 51 patients are non diabetic. For prostate volume clinical parameter, we found there is no significant differences between two groups (p>0.05). For IPSS score clinical parameter, we also found no significant differences between two groups (p>0.05). Furthermore, for Q-max clinical parameter, there is no significant differences between two groups (p>0.05). Conclusion: We found no significant differences of all parameters such as volume prostate, IPSS score (LUTS scale), and uroflowmetry between diabetic type 2 BPH patients and non diabetic type 2 BPH patients.
