- This study was conducted to investigate hepatoprotector effect of binahong leaves extract (anredera cordifolia) on liver histopathological feature of male wistar rats induced by boraks. Twenty four male Wistar rats ages 3 months old with 200 g of body weight were used as animal model. These animals were divided into six group P0- induced by sterile aquadest 0,5 ml/rats/day and CMC Na liquid 1%, P0+ Bor induced by CMC Na liquid 1% and borax 157 mg/rats/day, P0+ Bin induced by binahong leaves extract 50 mg/kg BW and sterile aquadest, P1 induced by binahong leaves extract 50mg/kg BW and borax 157 mg/rats/day, P2 induced by binahong leaves extract 100mg/kg BW and borax 157 mg/rats/day and P3 induced by binahong leaves extract 300mg/kg BW and borax 157 mg/rats/day. This research has been conducted for 14 days. The data were analyzed by Kruskall Wallis test and compared by Mann-Whitney test. The results showed that binahong leaves extract had hepatoprotective effect on liver histopathological feature of male wistar rats induced by boraks.
