- The aim of this research was to find out the cross reaction of Eurytrema pancreaticum antigen with Moniezia expansa antiserum. Clinical signs are similar and cause the same diagnose. Clinical sign rarely appear and the acuracy is low so that serological diagnostic should be done. Its need serological diagnostic to find out specific protein profile and characterization which have high antigenecity for antibody depend on molecule weight. Eurytrema pancreaticum was collected from pancreas of cattle and Moniezia expansa was collected from small intestine of goat. Homogenates of whole worm extract was produced and homogenized by centrifuge.Policlonal antibody of Moniezia expansa produced from immunization to mice. Booster was done 4 times with two weeks interval. The profile protein of homogenates identified by SDS-PAGE. The result of cross reaction of Eurytrema pancreaticum antigen with Moniezia expansa antiserum by Western Blot technique has 7 bands with molecule weight are 176; 134; 65; 62; 51; 38 and 35 kDa.
