  • Activity test of the central nervous system and synthesis ji-0111 he new compound N-benzoylphenilurea and 4- nitrobenzoylphenylurea has been done. The Scholten Baumann method was used for the reaction between N­ phenylurea and benzoyl chloride derivatives. The CNS depressant activity lest was done for the Nsbenzoylphenylura compound and 4-nitrobenzoylphenylurea by Barbi/uric Sleeping Time (BST) method. The yield of the Nsbenzoilphenylurea was 86% , had a white crystal . the 4-nitrobenzoylphenylurea was a yellow brown crystal and yield was 65%. Both of them gave one spot in Thin Layer Chromatography with two different eluent and the compounds melting point was different from the Nsphenylurea and showed greater. The structure "HNMR and MS, the result showed that the new identification from the all novel compounds were analysed by UV. JR, compound were Nsbenzoylphenylurea and 4-nitrobenzoylphenylurea. The CNS depressant activity Jest from Nsbenzaylphenylurea and q-nitrobenzoylphenylurea had a greater activity if compare with the standard compound bromisoval.
