- Background : Unwise use of social media in adolescents such as acquaintance with strangers, watching, reading and listening to sounds that lead to pornography can trigger sexual desires that negatively affect teenagers, especially girls. This is because teenagers girls are often the victims of unwise use of social media such as kidnapping, rape and murder. Methods : This research is an observational analytic research with cross sectional approach. The number of samples of 101 teenagers girls in accordance with inclusion criteria. Sampling is done with quota sampling. Independent variable in this study is the use of social media, while the dependent variable is the sexual behavior of teenagers girls. The collected data will be tested by spearman rank test at significance level α = 0.05. Result : The result showed that respondents with good use of social media 18,8% have good sexual behavior, respondents that use social media good enough 39,6% have good sexual behavior, respondents that use social media good enough 37,6% have good enough sexual behavior, respondent that use poor social media 1% have good enough sexual behavior, and respondents that use poor social media 3% have bad sexual behavior. After spearman rank test obtained value of p = <0.0001 with correlation coefficient 0,491 showing relationship with medium strength. Conclusion : It was concluded that there was an related of social media use on teenagers girl's sexual behavior. If the use of social media in good category then sexual behavior is also good.
