  • Fibrinolytic enzyme is discovered in some microorganisms, including Pseudomonas aeruginosa TS 6.4 which is isolated from sea cucumber (Paracaudina australis). Sea cucumbers have numerous pharmacological activities such as antithrombotic and antihyperlipidemic. In addition, Sticophus japonicus as one of the sea cucumbers species is proven containing fibrinolytic enzyme. Fibrinolytic enzyme activity is influenced by pH, temperature, activator, inhibitor, and substrate-enzyme concentration. This research aims to determine pH and optimum temperature of fibrinolytic enzyme activity from Pseudomonas aeruginosa TS 6.4. Optimum pH was reached at pH 5 – 6, while optimum temperature was attained at 50oC. The effect of metal activator CaCl2, MnCl2, MgCl2, ZnCl2, CoCl2 on fibrinolytic enzyme activity was also done to identify. The result showed that fibrinolytic activity of Pseudomonas aeruginosa TS 6. was affected by Ca2+, Mg2+, Mn2+, Zn2+, dan Co2+.
