  • Introduction: The use of the internet often abusing the media by cyberbullying, including teenagers. One of the factors that influence cyberbullying in adolescents are peer role and moral disengagement. The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between adolescent perceptions of peer role and moral disengagement with cyberbullying behavior in high school students in Surabaya. Method: This research used correlational design with cross sectional approach. The total sample is 346 high school students in Surabaya done by purposive sampling. Independent variable of this research are adolescent perception toward peer role and moral disengagement, dependent variable from this research is cyberbullying behavior. Data collection was using an online questionnaire by using google forms Peer Group Role Questionnaire, Moral Disengagement Scale, Cyberbullying and Online Aggression Survey Instrument and analyzed by Spearman's rho's correlation test with significance value α ≤ 0.05. Results: The results show a sufficient relationship between adolescent perception of peer role with cyberbullying offending behavior (p=0.000; r=-0.518) and weak relationship with cyberbullying victimization value (p=0.000; r=-0.296), strong relationship between adolescent perception of moral disengagement with cyberbullying behavior offending value (p=0.000; r=0.721) and sufficient relation with cyberbullying victimization value (p=0.000; r=0405). Discussion: Adolescent perceptions of high peer roles and low moral disengagement reduce the involvement of cyberbullying behavior in high school students in Surabaya. School nurses are expected to provide health education about knowledge for adolescents, regarding the importance of preventing cyberbullying behavior and how to overcome it.
