- Aims of this researchare to determine the analysis of the use of probiotics as an antibiotic replaced for feed consumption and egg production of laying hens. The research sample consisted of laying hens with Lohmann strain at 30 weeks with 180 head, divided into three treatments with six replications, each replicate using 10 chickens. P0 (Control samples) are chickens with basal feedwithout additional feed additives (AGP or Probiotics). Samples P1 using AGP at a dose of 0.1 grams were mixed and stirred evently in 180 ml water drink. P2 is samples with probiotics use a combination of 0.5% Lactobacillus casei and 0.25% Bifidobacterium mixed in 1 liter water drink. The results showed that P2 was treated with the lowest feed consumption (111,6g /head/day), the highest egg production (82.67%) and the most profitable business analysis (IDR. 25.722).
