- The experiment was done for dose determination of prolactine isolate from purification of duck's serum in moulting phase. Purification was done by electroelusi method. 'The result of the experiment can used for scientific base to produce the antiprolactine. Antiprolactine can inhibited the moulting process. The duck's serum from axillaris vein was added SAS 50%, homogenated, sentrifugated, and dialised. Furthermore, characterization of prolactine was started by SDS PAGE 12% for determinated the molecule weight and specificity test by Western Bloting. The observed was showed that prolacfine protein can be identificated at 27 kDa. Furthermore, prolactine isolate was measurement of protein total by Biuret method. Result the Biuret method was determinated 300 pg of prolactine isolate for every immunisaåon in goat as mal animal. Key words: dose determination, duck's serum, moulting phase
