- Golf course serves as golf facility managed by private companies. In 1963, golf courses were managed by Indonesian natives. This study discussed the dynamics of golf courses in 1963-1990 using historical research methods of heuristics, verification, interpretation, and Historiography. This study explained the management of Surabaya golf course by military and civilian groups. Other discussions related to golf course management include the establishment of Yani Golf Club on October 20, 1965, its progress following the regulations defined by Yani Golf Club, the activities in the golf course, and the club’s achievements, which include amateur national championship titles. within the scope of the study, the relationship between military personnels, civillians, business communities, caddies and the club is also thoroughly discussed.
