- Marriage is the decision of a person who has committed the bond between man and woman as a husband and wife with the aim of forming a family, both legally and customarily. The crucial things that happen in this era is Early Marriage, marriage before the age of 18, is a reality for many young women. Early marriage are being controversial phenomena in Indonesia. To analyze those phenomena this study use Critical Discourse Analysis by Ruth Wodak (2001).By using Qualitative method that concern to the CDA (Critical Discourse Analysis) Discourse-Historical Analysis approach, this study identify the factors of still the emergence of early marriage activities in Indonesia by the language used in the talk show. The analysis is using five discursive strategies, the extralinguistics or’context of situation’ and sociopolitical and historical context of Early Marriage. It is concerned to the caused of the Early Marriage phenomena that focus on the discursive strategy from historical background of the early marriage activity in Indonesia. As supporting data this study use statistic data from BKKBN, UNICEF about increasing the number of early marriage. The object of this study is Cerita Perempuan talkshow in Trans TV Episode “Kontroversi Pernikahan Dini”. The data of the researcher is gotten from the transcription of the conversation from the MC and the interviewee in the talkshow that I watched streaming (per May 29th 2017) from Youtube. In analyze using five discursive strategies the author found that Early Marriage issue only as a defense from Zina, it was spread on early marriage campaign, it also occures many inconsistency of marriage value and the big influence of parents. In result of sociopolitical and historical context the researcher found the caution of Early Marriage has been changed into avoiding adultery to reduce the bad morals of teenagers.
