  • This study aimed to figure out the language choice mostly spoken by members of English camp program in Kampung Inggris Pare based on the domains of language use. In order to achieve the objectives of the study, the data were taken from the Global E course which has the highest popularity in Kampung Inggris Pare. Additionally, the data sample selected were the members who come from different regions of Indonesia who speak more than two languages, covering various age-range and different educational backgrounds. Subjects were seven participants in the Global E’s English camp program. Here, in order to get the information regarding the language choice in particular domain that can be seen through the social factors and social dimensions as proposed by Holmes (2013), this study employed a field observation, questionnaire and interviews in collecting the data. It was revealed that the participants use all the languages mentioned in particular situation. There are two languages that are frequently used by the participants such as English and Indonesian. This study also found that the addresses of the participants and the setting of interactions become the dominant factor that influence the participant’s language choice. In addition, the relationship between the participants and the addresses become influential in the participant’s choice of language.
