  • The presence of non-specific bacteria in dairy cattle reproductive tract can cause a problem. The aim of this research are to detect the non-spesific bacteria in dairy cattle reproductive tract in follicular and lutheal phase and to find out whether there is a difference between bacteria isolation in Peranakan Friesien Holstein in follicular and lutheal phase. The samples were 7 follicular phase and 7 lutheal phase of cervical mucus. Samples were isolated on common media (TSA and BA), and selective media (EMBA and MSA) and were tested on gram staining, catalase test, spore test, and were identified to determine the genus of the bacteria. The results in the follicular phase were obtained there were Escherichia genus in 6 samples or 6/7 (85,71%), Staphylococcus genus in 5 samples or 5/7 (71,43%), Corynebacterium genus in 2 samples or 2/7 (28,5%), and no Streptococcus genus was found. In the lutheal phase were obtained there were Escherichia genus in 5 samples or 5/7 (71,43%), Staphylococcus genus in 3 samples or (42,85%), Corynebacterium genus in 1 samples or 1/7 (14,28%), and no Streptococcus genus was found. Based on the research that has been done, there were no differences between the two phase, follicular and lutheal phase. Non-specific bacteria genus that found were Staphylococcus, Corynebacterium, and Escherichia.
