- This study aims to determine the prevalence of Blastocystis protozoa in dairy cattle and the difference of Protozoa Blastocystis prevalence in clean and dirty cages in District of Ngancar, Regency of Kediri. A total of 194 dairy cattles sample consisting of 97 fecal specimens from clean cages and 97 fecal specimens from dirty cages were using native and floating methods. The results showed the prevalence of protozoa Blastocystis was 56.7% (110/194). The results also showed that the prevalence of protozoa Blastocystis in clean cages was lower than while at dirty cages. Data were analyzed using Chi Square. The higher prevalence results in dirty cages, although the difference was statistically significant (p<0.05).
