- This paper is described about a final report of internship in one of the biggest newspaper company namely Radar Surabaya. The internship was done from 12nd January to 11st February 2015. Newspaper is one of a kind of media which provides a lot of important information in daily life. It is also a place for advertisers to advertise their ads. The newspaper was published to convey the latest happening phenomena in different parts worldwide. We can know about the important things related to their politics, economics, sports, and government that are happening there. In this contemporary time, the role of newspaper is also used for promotion of trade, commerce, and business. This final report described the writer’s internship job as a translation journalist in sport and technology division. This final report explains about the duties during the internship which are listing the news, searching some sources, paraphrasing the sources and giving the news to editor. In doing the internship, the writer did not only learn about translation and journalism, but also learned to improve the soft skill, such as discipline, optimism, integrity, communication, and socializing. This amazing experience, therefore, has made the writer feel proud and grateful for being a part of Radar Surabaya since it is the biggest printed media company in Indonesia. In here the writer also mentions about the suggestion which addressed to the Radar Surabaya company, Universitas Airlangga and also students who interested in doing internship at Radar Surabaya newspaper company.
