  • This study aims to determine the effect of hepatitis B vaccine with different formulas towards the changes in hepatic organ weight and levels of SGOT – SGPT of male rabbit (Oryctolagus cuniculus). Twelve male rabbits were randomly divided into 4 treatment groups. Group P1 (0.4 ml of hepatitis b vaccine formula type 1 by IM), group P2 (0.4 ml of hepatitis b vaccine formula type 2 by IM), P3 group (0.4 ml of hepatitis b vaccine formula type 3 by IM) and Group K (Controls) which given 0, 4 ml of PBS solution by IM. Treatment given on day 0 after adaptation for 7 days, then on day 14 performed anesthesia to take blood and liver organ in male rabbits. The results of the data from the research tested statistical analysis used Kruskal-Wallish test. In Kruskal-Wallish test it showed that the probability value (Sig.) > 0.05, therefore H0 is accepted, or there is no significant difference between control group and treatment groups.
