- Background: Multidrug Resistent tuberculosis (MDR-TB) is M. tuberculosis that is resistant to isoniazid and rifampicin, with or without other first-line OAT. One of the biggest problems is the rapid resistance of M. tuberculosis to antibiotic therapy given. Objective: This study aims to study the profile of patients with genexpert diagnostic and resistance pattern of Tuberculosis Drug Resistance patient to improve service for patient. Method: This is a retrospective study by obtaining patients data from medical records in the MDR-TB facility of RSUD Dr. Soetomo State during period of Januari – December 2016 and analyzed descriptively. Result: 84 patients were identified (47 male, 37 female), most of them were between age 51-60 years old (26,4%). The history of patients receiving the most treatment was the type of recurrent patient (46.4%). Most Genexpert examination results were patients with MTB-positive resistance to rifampicin (98.1%). The highest Drug Sensitivity test pattern is Multidrug Resistancec (MDR TB) (72,6%). Keyword: multidrug resistance, drug sensitivity test, genexpert
