  • The purpose of this research was to determined the right time for giving poultry probiotic on broilers according to the weight gain, the feed intake and the feed convertion ratio. This research used 20 male broilers (Cobb CP 707), were randomly divided into four treatment groups which each group consisted of five broilers, P0 was given water without poultry probiotic, P1 was given water mixed with poultry probiotic at age of two days, P2 was given water mixed with poultry probiotic at age of 12 days and P3 was given water mixed with poultry probiotic at age of 22 days. Treatment had been given until broilers 32 days old. Data collected was conducted to analyze the weight gain, the feed intake and the feed convertion ratio. Statistical analysis used was ANOVA (Analysis of Variant) that continues to Duncan’s Multiple Range Test if the result of the test is significant at the level of 5%. The result of the weight gain and the feed convertion ratio are significantly different but the result of the feed intake is unsignificantly different. The right time for giving poultry probiotic on broilers is at two days old.
