  • This study was aimed to determine the antibiotic susceptibility of Campylobacter jejuni isolated from chicken meat sold at wet market and supermarket. Twenty five samples were bougth from traditional markets and supermarkets. The bacteriological method used in this study were isolation and identification in selective media followed by susceptibility test according to Kirby-Bauer. The result showed sixteen (64%) out of twenty five samples were Campylobacter sp., and four (25%) out of sixteen (64%) Campylobacter sp. isolates were C.jejuni. The susceptibility test showed intermediate susceptible to Chlocamphenicol (50%), Tetracycline (25%), and resistant to Erythromicin (100%), Gentamicin (75%), Ciprofloxacin (75%), Tetracyclin (75%), and Ampicilin (50%).
