- Background: Dental caries is a major problem in children’s mouth cavity. Most of child of age 6-10 years like to eat sweet food. The damage of the primary teeth spreads faster, expands more, and severe than permanent teeth. Parents education, socio economic, and knowledge is one of the factors that affect health status. Objective: This study was to determine the relationship parental education, socio economic, and knowledge towards dental caries among 6-10 year old children. Method: This research using observational analytic with cross-sectional and total sampling conducted at School Kendangsari I Surabaya in October 2016. Result: The statistic results obtained no significant correlation. Conclusion: There was no correlation between parental education, socio economic, and knowledge towards dental caries among 6-10 year old children.
