- Introduction. Teens who wants adult status , smoking can be a symbol of maturity. Adolescent smoking behavior is generally caused just follow the adult, a trend following , has a heavy smoker friend. This study was conducted to determine the relationship of technology, law, and culture with smoking behavior in adolescent males in SMA Negeri 1 Bergas. Method. This study used a cross sectional study as a design. The sample are 104 respondents using Purposive Sampling. Data were collected by using a questionnaire. Data were analyzed by Spearman’s Rho test (α = 0,05). Results. Probability value of relationship technology and smoking behavior of 0,0864 while the relationship law and smoking behavior of 0,003, and the relationship culture and smoking behavior of 0,014. Discussion and conclusion. Based on the result of research showing technology utilization is not use for finding information about smoking so it does not affect smoking behavior , while based Lawlessness lower respondent violated Increasingly lower light smoking behavior and based on the culture lower smoking culture Increasingly lower light smoking behavior . Conclusions from this research that there is a correlation between law and culture with smoking behavior in adolescent males but there is no correlation between technology with smoking behavior in adolescent males in SMA Negeri 1 Bergas.
