- Schizophrenia is a brain disorder which affects the way of a person behaviour, thinking, and sees the world. Factors that trigger a relaps of schizophrenia, among others the patient was not drinking medication, deficit of knowledge, its deficienci of sopport from family, and social stigma. Aim of this study is to know factors affecting relaps in patients with schizophrenia in Psychiatric Polyclinic of RSJD Dr. RM. Soedjarwadi Central of Java Province. This study used descriptive correlational design with cross sectional approach. Population from this study were 75 people and sample were 45 respondents taken through consecutive sampling. Data collection using questionnaires. The independent variable of the study were adherence of drinking medication, family knowledge, family support, and social stigma. The dependent variable was history of relapse schizophrenia. Data was analysed by Spearman Rank with significant level α ≤0,05. The result showed there were relation between non adherence drinking medication with relapse on schizophrenia (p= 0,00). There were no relation between family knowledge with relapse on schizophrenia (p= 0,255). There were relation between family support with relapse on schizophrenia (p= 0,00), and there were relation between social stigma with relapse on schizophrenia (p= 0,10).
